Seventh Grade Class Trip
Dear Parents:
Our class is planning to take a field trip on Monday November 22nd, 2010. The purpose of this note is to give you the trip details and a list of supplies your child should bring along. Please send me an email at folkmedicine2@gmail.com to inform me whether or not your child will be in attendance as soon as possible before the deadline date Friday, November 19th , 2010.
Students will visit the BoBo camp as part of our awareness of folk medicine practices that exist in Jamaica. After the trip, each student will be able to complete the assigned essay using information that they gathered to support their arguments. Students will also prepare a display table for your viewing at the Parent teacher Conference based on their trip and research.
Any students who cannot attend the field trip will be supervised by Mr. Samuels, the 8th grade teacher at our school. Their assignment will be to research and complete the assigned essay, they will also participate in preparing the display table..
